When the Lord starts moving, Hang on!
So last week I met with some folks with the Steward Foundation Inc. in Sandpoint, ID. They are a non profit organization and have been established for over ten years with a variety of missions in Africa as well as North America. They have asked me to become associated with them which will help potential donors receive tax deductible donations through them.
Then last Saturday, through some really bizarre circumstances, it has been made clear to me to move to North Idaho. I will move this Saturday June 27th. I gave my notice at work on Monday and The Land Group, Inc., where I have worked for the last 10+ years has graciously allowed me to work part time as needed while I take a 3 month sabbatical. This sabbatical will allow me to get these books distributed to the Rescue Missions while taking care of some needed personal time.
On Wednesday I had a lunch meeting with Rev. Bill Roscoe and Pastor Mike Beaudin. These two guys are exceptional men of God. It has been a while since I have laughed that hard. Rev. Bill is President and CEO of the Boise Rescue Mission in Boise, Idaho and Pastor Mike is the assistant Pastor of Ustick Baptist Church in Meridian, Idaho. I have great admiration for these two guys. They have a great deal of wisdom between them. I am pleased to say that they are supporting me in a variety of ways on this Assignment that the Lord has given me and are completely on board!
Just before the meeting I ordered 10,000 books of Skies are Not Cloudy All Day. We are committed now! They will be printed and ready to go on the 8th of July. This next three months Cowgirl and I will be going completely on faith... not sure where yet. I look forward to the Lords direction and meeting the new people that the Lord has prearranged for me and Cowgirl to meet! This journey will be the basis for the next book, On Assignment for the Lord.
The Lord see everything. Take the twists and turns carefully keeping your eyes focused on Him. We give the glory to Him for using you in this way.
